Meeting the Five Outcomes for Young People
- Havant & District Holiday Venture (“HDHV”) will provide the opportunity for youngsters to take part in a range of Healthy activities and benefit from the healthy food youngsters can purchase at the tuck shop.
- Staff will help youngsters to be Safe and think about their own safety during activities and outings.
- Youngsters will have the opportunity to Enjoy and Achieve by joining in a range of challenging activities they have selected for the three week programme.
- Every year at HDHV, the youngsters make a Positive Contribution by supporting each other, helping staff to understand disability, and making them feel at ease.
- HDHV provides youngsters with a range of life skills that can help them when moving forward into independent living and possible work. Theses skills can help them achieve Economic well-being.
Parent/carers can achieve Economic well-being by having the opportunity to continue working during the summer holiday whilst their young person attends a cost-effective service.
