Eligibility of Inclusion Policy

1. Children/Young people must have a physical disability which could preclude them from taking part in playschemes.
2. Children/Young people new to the scheme must be sufficiently independent to choose to take part in the activities of the playscheme.
3. Children/Young people new to the scheme will be admitted on a maximum 3 day probationary period.
4. Children/Young people new to the scheme must have an appropriate safe method of transfer which is manageable by staff on the playscheme.
5. Children/Young people new to the scheme must be able to communicate their needs and views.

Havant and District Holiday Venture cannot accept:

1. Children/Young people with severe learning disabilities.
2. Children/Young people with severe challenging behaviour.
