Admission Policy
Havant & District Holiday Venture (“HDHV”) was established in 1980 and provides a 3-week playscheme during the summer holidays for up to 35 children/young people who have a physical disability, their sibling or friend.
Parent/carers must fill in and return all the necessary paperwork in good time for the management committee to plan suitable activities for all the children.
HDHV operates an equal opportunity policy.
Since its formation, HDHV has provided a safe, happy and informal summer playscheme. Emphasis is always on fun activities, gaining new skills and meeting or making new friends. All children benefit from the opportunities to play safely with friends, but for disabled children/young people it is particularly important as opportunities are often limited.
HDHV applies for and receives grants from a range of organisations which subsidises the 35 places. This enables HDHV to offer parent/carers affordable childcare.
Introduction of New Young Person
